Aledo still handing out Justis without Dry

Okay I was hoping to see Texas commit Alyssa Dry play during the Mansfield Rotary Tournament because I really haven't had a chance to see the young lady go to work like I'm hearing she could do but she was out with an ankle sprain. Nevertheless this Aledo team really did impress me on day one after they knocked off South Grand Prairie

Let's start off with all-tournament selection Justis Szczepanski-Beavers who created quite a stir when she moved down to Houston last season and made her presence felt. After watching her play that initial time last season, I had seen  enough and the progression she has made is even ahead of where I anticipated. This kid young lady is handling the ball like a guard at 6'4 and I'm talking C2C and fluidly, so add that with her dominance in the paint in the paint on both ends, well.......

Kaylee Black was showed her ability to shoot the three and  I was also impressed with several Ladycats including Breann Forbes, Mallory Powell and Megan Wood. SGP was a solid team and Aledo turned the heat on and opened that one up on their way to a 7th place finish defeating Har-Ber 55-51
