Canyon has always been, well "The Team". With a legendary coach, Joe Lombard, whose accolades are mind boggling, the Lady Eagles put on yet another impressive effort in the Mansfield Rotary Tournament. I watched their second round game against Trimble Tech and although TT was up when I left, I wasn't surprised at all when I saw Canyon pulled out the victory.
With several impressive players on the team like Taylor Jones, Kylee Murgel, Kendall Davis and Brittany Morgan, it was no surprise that Madison Parker was named to the all tournament team after helping lead her team to a sixth place finish as they stay atop the TABC 4A list as the team to beat
