Younger FROGZ have a great memory and tons of potential #PrimeTimeNationals
If anyone remember CHEERS, you'l get this because sometimes I feel like Norm and when I heard these voices almost synchronized in saying SIMMIE, I was caught off guard. Well these younger GT Frogz certainly have bright futures, on and off the court and I had a chance to check many of them out when I covered Pass Tha Ball's Hoop A Holics Camp back in December
I guess the 2016 GT Frogz did some off guard catching as well as they overcame a double digit deficit to win in bracket play yesterday and are ready for the F4 today as the countdown continues
Special treat on Championship Sunday #PrimeTimeNationals
It's amazing what five hours of sleep and three miles in the morning will do to revitalize me and as I was walking, Fieldhouse Friday just popped into my head over and over. Okay here;s the deal, after further review, I will head back to the Fieldhouse after 10th Grade Championship to capture the end of both the 4th ans 5th Grade Championships and the 6th and 7th Grade
I called Elizabeth Scott "Great Scott" after my first time seeing her and after watching Ginger Reece in full mode, she will forever be tagged Ginger "The Beast" Reece by me. Their respective teams, Skyrise and Oklahoma Select Red are in the 7th Grade F4 as well as DC Queens 2019 Orange and AR JB Lady Ballers 2019, DC Queens also has F4 teams in 5th and 6th grade divisions. Put on the grease because the stove is hot
Championship Sunday countdown starts now #PrimeTimeNationals
I love catching Waco Lady Panthers Trista Nelson-Furlong off guard however the Lady Panthers certainly haven't as they place teams in the Final 4 in both the 9th and 10th grade division as we head into the stretch and speaking of stretching, I have been all over the place watching talented players from the THIRD grade on up
Speaking of 3rd Grade, the Oklahoma Swarm won that division in fact with the exception of the 11/12 Grade Divisions, Oklahoma is representing in every age as we start off today's Final Fours. These two young ladies, don't have the names yet, have been an integral part of Oklahoma Dream Elite's run but the race ain't over as both they and the Oklahoma Lady Fire have made it in the 10th Grade Division setting up a potential all Oklahoma Final
I don'know if you all remember "follow the bouncing ball" from the cartoons way back in the day but just click on the link below and magic appears, well the real magic will be starting......

GPR Under The Radar stars open up #SiminatorSaturday at #PrimeTimeNationals
A couple of explosive guards, Raven Patin (New Orleans Lady Trojans) and Tia Tolbert (Sports Prep) went off on Thursday night and I'll have a chance to watch them do the same thing this morning as I head over to Coppell HS for three games and then SJC is off to the IAD
Team Denton and Bright Futures were on my "must see" list, well they go head to head, perfect!!!!
Wait, DFW Lady Hawks are playing at 11:40, oh my, four games then to the IAD

Full course on Friday from #PrimeTimeNationals
Also another new face that caught my eye was Alexis Babineuax, another 2021 who is one of many bright young faces throughout the Houston Skyrise organization. The day just kept getting better, I mean I saw the DC Queens battling early and and the Di Shooters battling late, not to mention NT Lights Out with their loaded squad of next level players. I tweeted that this 2019 bracket is shaping into one of the reasons I wanted to be cloned and if you didn't catch the Skyrise vs Oklahoma Select Red game, two things are for certain, Elizabeth Scott is truly "Great Scott" and Ginger Reece is definitely a BEAST, tons of talent on both squads
I don't know what impressed me more, this young ladies spin move going full speed in traffic or the Oklahoma Swarm who like the movie, are simply all over you. I've touched o a few of the things that will be coming from you from Fieldhouse Friday, several players and parents thanked me for coming to watch them or their daughters but two things, If I make a promise, I'm going to do my best to keep it and I should be thanking you all for the energy and excitement so let me close with a sort of remix from the Chi Lites "Have You Seen Her" I have a seat on the same old bench to watch the children play, you know tomorrow is their future but for me it's just another day because NO ONE DOES, what I do, stay tuned as I head to 8th grade bracket play for the early session and close with the older grls

Countdown,14, 13, TWELVE #FieldhouseFriday #PrimeTimeNationals
When I saw the maroon and the name TWELVE, well I kind of figured where these young ladies were from and after taking a second look, I already knew a few tat were around I guess six or seven when I initially met them. Well TWELVE was simply solid and they will be one of the NUMEROUS teams I'll catch as I head over to the Fieldhouse
One question. Are you ready? Never mind, I already know, see ya soon!!!!!
Today is what? Fieldhouse Friday #PrimeTimeNationals
Okay I caught a couple of these young ladies I initially saw at the Cy Fair Evaluation Camp back in March and they were elated that I'll be checking out their game today, well sort of
Opening day closes #AutoAwesome at #PrimeTimeNationals
After the talented Dallas Stars in the 11/12 grade division helped open the day, down the stretch, it was a couple of 8th grade teams, Sports Prep and the New Orleans Lady Trojans, in their games against the Monroe Lady Bulldogs and All Starz respectively, that gave me that boost I needed
Several bright spots on opening day and this season I'm doing something a little different as I'll be bringing you multiple Tip Sheets from Prime Time Nationals. I think I'm going to nickname Kaylor Coleman "The Punisher" after yesterday's showing and as you can see in the Auto Awesome photo, she doesn't shy from contact
I'll revisit the 8th grade teams in bracket play tomorrow morning before closing out the weekend back where I started, the IAD, watching the HS teams

Dallas Stars prepare to accept challenge #PrimeTimeNationals
I haven't seen every team that's playing in the 11/12 grade division at Prime Time Nationals but I've seen the Dallas Stars numerous times over the past two seasons and after making a deep run, (Final 4) at least seasons NC, they are my odds on favorites to do at least the same thing
Led by Chelsea Warren, have I mentioned she's a beast, yes probably over 100 times, the Stars simply have a little bit everything at every position plus a deep bench. They crank it up a little after 10 cause all they do is win, win, win no matter what, OUT!!!

More stars to build on from #TheBlueprint
| Lena Wilson |
The foundation was solid as well as the structure so when adding in the essentials, aka talent, The Blueprint passed every inspection. Here are a few others that simply went off when I was around
2015
Adriaana Jackson- 5'2 guard (Houston Elite) pound for pound, inch for inch, she's one of the best in the state and simply finds ways to get it done. She's exceptional at creating her shot, quickness and jumping ability play into it, how about double-double , yeah points and rebounds
Pearl Jones-5'11 wing (Louisiana Bayou Angels) strong in the paint on both ends is one way to put it until you see her attack from the perimeter. Good defender and made solid decisions in crunch time for LBA
Kylie Ladd-5'7 guard (Oklahoma Shock 2015 Diaz) Having speed is always a plus, factor in having speed and knowing what to do with it and you can create some problems. Ladd plays the passing lane well and her numerous steals meant easy baskets
Breann Ford-6'0 post (San Antonio Royals) Hard to handle down low, good body and strength and knows the game. Oh yeah, finishes well and showed she can face the basket and score
McKenzie Lunkin-5'11 wing (CTX Heat Black) An abundance of athleticism has me on the verge of labeling it ultra but whatever you wanna call it, she has it. Lunkin simply was everywhere the ball was and was a nightmare to contain
2016
Jade Rochelle-5'10 forward (North Texas Strive Blue) simply took game over during various stretches and overpowered opponents. Handles ball well for size which gives her an additional weapon to score from wing
Lena Wilson- 5'8 guard (SA Finest White) The more I watched Wilson, the more she turned it on and as the tournament progressed, she played like she was on a mission an the outcome possibly put her in a great position with the numerous college coaches watching. Very athletic and simply things happen
Tara Molina- 5'2 guard (San Antonio Islanders Black) With their top two scorers not available, Annabelle Tovar and Alexia Torres, Tara Molina knew what she had to do. I've seen glimpses of her scoring but she simply went off from everywhere, including a few from another time zone
Ashley Hayes-5'5 guard (FM Lady Thunder) Hayes blew me away when I saw her for the first time last season and she still does. The prototype point guard that's smart, understands the game and makes good decisions, especially in crunch
2017
Ryanne Johnson-6'0 post (Texas Adidas Elite Franey) Johnson isn't flashy, she just gets it done. She's a double-double waiting to happen and her strength is through the roof. The killing part is she hasn't touched her potential
