GTE's Worry Mobilenet at #TheLastRun

If you caught the title, you'll know before Verizon there was someone else and although there appeared to be redlining issues, they served a need and purpose. Megan Worry serves a need and purpose because she's a 5'10 guard that can drop em from just about anywhere

At The Last Run, Worry dropped five threes in a row, now I bet that has your attention more than those Pre-Verizon issues but I talked about this team earlier in the summer

2015 Armani Allen Jeffersonized

I watched a lot of Armani Allen over the summer and the DFW Elite star provided tons of excitement and energy along the way. I already knew she could play however as I always look for progression, she continues to show that along with maturity and her knowledge of the game

At The Last Run, if you caught her you'll know why she's ""Movin On Up"

Hammond was #AutoAwesome at #MidlandHoops32

Like the writer said, "nothing like game situation "

2017's from Midland Hoops 32

Zariah Griffin is all smiles and rightfully so after putting in a strong performance at he Midland Hoops 32 Fall Showcase. Griffin and Desarea Stanford were among the top performers in the shooting and one on one drills and didn't back down when they performed in the games.

Japeria White, Jessica Ngyuen and Rutie Fox also showed potential during the event. White really came alive the latter part of the day as she added a nice variety of offensive moves. Nguyen did a great job defensively in the drills and games and showed she could also score while Fox was one of the top players at the camp getting to the basket and creating her shot

This is a solid group of 2017 players and you all know how I've touted this as a Monster Class. Well many of these players have a chance to become scary and based on what I saw from Cherlee Collins, well she has me looking over shoulders right now, BOO!

Brown's Last Run capped solid summer, now The Taz

Shatarah Brown put in work all summer with DFW Elite Miller and as I watched her, along with several of her Atascocita teammates, I can't wait to see District 13 because The Taz, Dekaney, Kingwood and Klein Forest have all got to be the front runners and this might be the toughest district in the area this season

Anacia Wilkinson and Hannah Hopkins will be creating problems on the inside while Brown and her younger sister Aimee, along with several others will be bringing heat from everywhere

Michelle Nwokedi is more than ready for GHI

Guess who will be at Jack Yates HS this weekend? Well other than me

Barbers Hill
Bellaire
Channelview
Westside
Dekaney
Manvel
North Shore
Port Arthur Memorial
St. Pius X

2016's from Midland Hoops 32

Tatanesha Fleming and Alexis Valdez both showed they could play D, did well in the one on one drills and got even better during the games

Ke'Avionni looked good all through the skill competition and add her to the mid-range list, well Molly Hill also showed she could shoot it. Zykia Green put in work on both ends during the games but one thing all of these young ladies have in common is they have potential and they have time as they enter their sophomore seasons in high school

Roeshonda Patterson, Nia Smith and Allison Valdez made the TIPSTER
