Houston Baptist barely got into the Southland Conference Tournament with a #8 seed however their record did not indicate how good they were. I teased the staff about my being their bad luck charm because during the season, they had several leads going into the 2nd half that they didn't hold onto and losing star senior Shanice Steenholdt definitely was a huge blow
As it turns out, I'm not a bad luck charm after all as the Huskies have pulled two upsets in a row in the tournament and it don't get any easier as they play SFA at 1pm
