The Waco Lady Panthers have been going strong for many seasons and the man I called the brains behind the operation, Art Pertile, has coached some of the top players that have come from that area including Texas Longhorn who was also a former MDAA, Cokie Reed.
Different players rose to the occasion throughout the Prime Time National Championship and their efforts paid off as they finished fourth, losing bthe third place game by only three, 50-47, to Way to Win Gold. Gabrielle Wilson and Breana Stoner handled things in the back-court while Tayla Taylor and Victoria Kuykendall controlled the inside which truly came in handy against the Monroe Lady Tigers featuring Kevione Moten, more of them coming later. Lady Adams gave some added offense while Mikayla Swift showed her ability to not only score but saw the floor extremely well but Diamond Ervin was simply all over the place on both ends and compile all of this together and you have an idea on why they did so well
