Rumors have been swirling around for weeks on a possible split between the four DFW teams here in Houston and it appears it's now official as some have moved on and will be called Texas Preps Elite while the others will remain DFW. No shortage of talent on either side however Texas Preps Elite received a big boost as Faith Cook, formerly of the Blue Chips, has joined the new squad. Cook, along with Jae Branch and Chastity Patterson, gives Texas Prep Elite three of the states brightest young stars from the 2016 and 2017 classes. With all of the talent in our area, I'm sure that the DFW brand will remain, more to come later
