Dorian Branch
On or off the court, Dorian Branch stays ready
Always smiling off the court and seizing the opportunity. Here she is with Mallory Adams and below with Breah Powell
Well she seizes it on the court even more and she made another Tip Sheet, read more
Austin Elite vs Houston Elite at #MarchFest
Up front we have Joi Simmons (Houston Elite) and Kennedy Harris (Austin Elite) who have made tip sheets the past couple of weeks. Simmons, from Housrton Elite's Spring fling and Harris at DFW Elite's March Fest. These teams put on quite a battle on opening day. Dasia Johnson and Alexus Dukes added fire for AE throughout the event while Tiffany Arceneaux and Taylor Kollmorgen are bringing even more fire to the furnace for Houston Elite
Millet was definitely a good bet
SYE always has some talented players and Bri Millet definitely was a good bet when I saw her in middle school. Let's see, she's made it to the state championship, has D1 offers on the table and observes and grasps everything. I'll catch more of her and SYE this weekend
All is well with Ghavidel too, well three
Not only does "all is well" work with other players, I'm glad Katlyn was, well doing her thing healthy. The 2018 sharp shooter can fill it up from everywhere on the floor and great thing about KG is she keeps bringing new addition to her game
Lady Warriors win 2019 division at #MarchFest
Nina Milliner, Jasmyne Brown and Mikayla Hutchinson are three young ladies that I've had the pleasure of watching many times over the past year, well with Mikayla, three years. Their improvement shows and they're making the necessary adjustments in order to get to the next level. This past weekend, they helped lead the Lady Warriors to the 2019 championship at the DFW Elite March Fest
2018 #MarchFest Tip Sheet
My overused line of comparing players to Steve Miller's hit "Fly Like an Eagle" sums this #AutoAwesome photo up of Madison Williams but these ten players I've picked will more than likely fly into high school next season and soar eventually. Many played up or dominated their age group during the March Fest so here we go
Madison Williams-6'0 forward-DFW Elite Super Girls- Williams played up and like this picture and a phrase I've used already with this team, up, up and away. Here's the deal, she doesn't realize how good she is and once she does, all bets are off on how high she'll soar. She can handle the ball, attack from the wings and simply overpower you inside with her athleticism
Taloer Pruitt-5'4 guard- DFW Elite Super Girls-Didn't realize she was as young as she was until I looked at the roster and then I realized who she was. Her mannerisms have changed and her game has matured even more. She's a tough defender that didn't back down against the older players and she showed she could handle the pressure defenses sent her way
Kayla White-5'8 guard-DFW Elite Power Puffs- White almost mirrors Williams with her athleticism, she gets off the ground as quickly as many of the elite high school players do now, she can recover if she misses the steal and she can score and I mean score in bunches. This young lady has to potential to be able to take over games on both ends
Keziah and Jhakya Dilworth-6'0 wings-AD Elite- I listed them as wings because these twins can fly, they were both always athletic but since I caught back up with them, their skill set has definitely taken a turn upwards as they are showing they can put in on the floor and score facing the basket.
Paris Netherly-5'9 guard-Houston Elite White-Good size and ability grabbed me when I first saw her which was about four years ago. Two years ago, her scoring, especially under pressure and now she's playing against players four years older at times and not being fazed, on either end.
Desiree Caldwell-5'6 guard-San Antonio Finest- Watching her older sister over the years probably gives her a slight edge on some things but she get's it and gives it as well. Her ball handling is off the charts as well as her ability to see the floor and get to the basket but I need to see if she could shoot from the outside as well, she can
Jasmine Smith-5'6 guard-Cy Fair Nike 15U- Basketball savvy at an early age helped when I caught her a couple of years ago and she is simply fearless on the floor. She's a defensive stopper, a point guard that can take over games in the flow and set her teammates up for point blank opportunities
Tatum Veitenheimer-5'6 guard-Texas Adidas Elite- Tatum is just one of those players that is so far ahead of the game in so many aspects that your head will spin. I thought she was at least a sophomore last season, her passion and knowledge of the game at this age speaks volumes and she's one of those players that loves to be "the girl" in clutch situations where she continues to deliver
Sophia Ramos-5'9 guard-South Texas Hoyas- Ramos just keeps getting better, she's poised on the court and is deceptive when you're trying to guard her. She appears to have grown another inch and being a big guard that can score like she's showing me she can will keep her mailbox full
Charli Collier-6'3 forward- Cy Fair Nike 15U- Okay a couple of months ago I saw her handling the ball coast to coast, a few weeks ago she added a crossover and over the weekend, she faced the basket and knocked down the mid-range. Don't get me wrong, she still dominates in the paint, on both ends and she isn't through with adding stuff to her arsenal
There you go, I gave you eleven instead, more to come later
SA Stars and HGEE 2017 #MarchFest
This picture sort of illustrates the battle between the San Antonio Stars and HGEE Britt as this was one of the three games in the Walker division that opened the March Fest up for me. The Stars have a solid team of 2016 and 2017 players, I've already talked about "17 Bianca Hernandez and her improvement but if you missed it, read more
Clogging up the middle for the Stars is Kira Vlk who loves to bang, rebound and can finish. Autumn Light and Kiania Cain played well on defense ' Light also joined Jordan Luensmann and Mackenzie Saenz as long ball threats, Luensmann and Victoria Salinas also showed the ability to not only attack the basket well but finish
HGEE 2017 had some talent as well filled with a group of freshmen that played defense and got after it
Payton Hicks and Nyah Green are two of the "girls" in 2019 #SBEX
Payton Hicks and Nyah Green blew by last season and they'll be doing more of the same this weekend as they will be on hand for the She's Ballin' Extravaganza in San Antonio. I knew Hicks was good, she's elevated from status after catching her a few months later at the Pass Tha Ball Camp which fits perfectly because she runs the point, it's amazing how i tie this stuff in, either you get or you don't and trust me she gets it
Nyah Green gets it too, oh and she gives it in a big way and the disbelief of college coaches who saw the video of her going completely off at the camp were calling and asking if she was truly from the 2019 class. Guess what, I'm will to bet I'll find more hidden talent just based on these names I'm seeing that I probably won't see again this season but please remember, if I don't have a roster, there is nothing I can, I mean it's just plain and simple
Please email team rosters with the team name and event in the SUBJECT line to rosters@girlzprepreport.com

Schnell making adjustment with ease
I was playing back individual performances at the March Fest and I thought about watching Cori Schnell, perform quite well as she did her thing but then a bell would ring. I somehow omitted her from the UTR Tip Sheet, even after she performed yet another amazing feat
Cori can score, that's never been an issue and she's adding to her already impressive list of offensive weapons. That, along with her becoming more aggressive on defense and the ability to score with contact will raise even more eyebrows

BREAH!!!!!!
Breah Powell was the first 2017 player that made a national Tip Sheet from yours truly and since she is on a pace to set all types of records in track and field, I got to thinking about what I wrote a couple of years ago and all I can say is that she amazes more more than I amaze myself. She ran the point her freshman season and helped lead McKinney North to state championship game and even though I spelled her name wrong, the most important thing is I got her game right
