Halfway through July

I've had a chance to see several players, including the AMAZING Alexis Jones and the BREATHTAKING Brianna Butler, both from the stacked Class of 2012. I also think the Class of 2013 will be loaded with impact players, but let me jump to the Class of 2014.

I am sure most of you know who Brianna Turner is, pictured above. Hoopgurlz.com already is calling her a game changer and the kid has been OFFERED by several TOP 25 schools already. Now I just found out Mackenzie Calvert, bottom right, has verballed to Baylor. Also pictured is Cienna Rodriguez-Rivera, I spoke of how savvy she was on the court after seeing her in the Premier Super 64.

Well another kid from that same class also mentioned by HG that you need to keep your eyes on is Recee Caldwell out of San Antonio, I mentioned her earlier on my blog when I wrote about the Rice camp. I have witnessed the kid do some amazing things at a young age against older competition at that, which in my book says a lot.

I love to play act, so that weird show on ABC, Fast Forward, got me to thinking. I'm jumping all the way to the Class of 2018 and I project Dasia Collins will be playing at the next level. The kid is already regarded as one of the up and comers and I see her progressing every time I watch her play. She also has spunk, telling my daughter that she will be just as good as her, this blew Maryann Baker away, however with an attitude like that, she could be better. I'll be heading to New Orleans next week and I am sure I will have some stuff to blow YOU away as well. Until then, be safe and good luck to all!

Best of Summer Wrap Up

INSIDERS VS REED

Somehow I knew this would be great, after all, I am a coach for the Insiders and my daughter plays her home games in Reed Arena. Reed is coached by Curtis Jones, red shirt in background, top left. His daughter, Arkela Ware Jones, another 2012 to watch out for, opened the game by nailing 3 from NBA range and I'm thinking, here we go.

I was impressed by the tenacity of this team. They are blessed with size and speed.

Jones, #2, provided the offensive spark to get Reed going early

Reed also has twin towers from the Class of 2013, Ebony Hayes and Erica Watkins. Hayes is on Hoopgurlz.com Top 100 watch list and was ranked as high as #9 by ASGR.

All in all, it was great for our girls and their parents to see how competitive it is all over the country

UP AND COMING

Talented players are everywhere, that's why if your goal is to play at the next level, work, work, work!

No college is just going to hand it to you and this young lady was taking everything in sight

CAROLINA ALL STARS VS GEORGIA HOOPSTARS

The Carolina All Stars vs Georgia Hoopstars proved to be one of the more exciting games in the tournament. Wall to wall coaches were on hand and it was hard for fans to find a seat.

Best of Summer-Part 2

TALENT IS EVERYWHERE!

EOTO caught my eye and this kids name, Penny Coin, says it all as she was on the money!

No matter where I go, there is an abundance of talent around

Remember if you aren't working on your game, somebody else is!

GEORGIA BLAZERS WHITE VS FGB

Kenny Kalina is the force behind FGB. He is considered one of "the men" down in Florida and if you ever want to know anything that's going on down that way, check him out on Twitter. He's also the guy that got me started with Scout.com and as we all know, the rest is history. FGB is loaded with talented players and was fun to watch.

WINSTOM SALEM VS PEAK PERFORMANCE

Size vs Shooters is what this amounted to
