Taeler Deer made the transition from Channelview High School's basketball team to on the court with Texas State last season smoothly as she averaged over 7 ppg as a freshman however her 32 point outburst against North Texas last week was good enough to have her named College Sports Madness Mid-Major National Player Of The Week.
