Westside opens it up in 2nd half for win over Cy Fair

This was a game I couldn't miss and even though the one left was pretty exciting, I knew this one would be even more because the rivalry goes back to when my daughter was playing. Cy Fair was clicking early as Kyler Wyatt and Angela Harris were scoring what seemed like lay-up after lay-up and not a pretty offensive performance from some of Westside stars, including A&MCC commit Maddisen Turner

That turned around in the second half a she was virtually unstoppable and the Wolves who started the half down 27-26 , went on a 14-0 run and never looked back. Tanea Thompson carried the offensive load in the first half for Westside who had their D1 duo of Turner and Janae Smith foul out, I ain't getting into that because I never complain about officiating, who am I kidding lol

Big props to freshman Ny'Asia Goldman who has star written all over her along with Kirby Celestine for keeping the pressure going but the biggest props might need to go to Kori Seals who did a very good job after Turner fouled out. Star of the game aka GPR POTG was Sentreal Gregory who dropped 3 threes in the second half, hit four free throws in the last minute and made some baskets
