Port Arthur Memorial defeated Clear Springs 82-75 in the opening round of the Aldine Tournament and that was one of the best games I've seen all season, TV included. The Titans would go up but one thing was for certain, the Chargers definitely bring enough energy to come back against almost anyone with their high powered defense. Joyce Kennerson went off for about 30, she was simply on fire in the first half while Jaekria Ford got it done in the second half. These two teams could meet again with the winner facing Hightower more than likely for a chance to go to Campbell. The Hurricanes defeated the Chargers by one in the Peggy Whitley Classic
