Peggy Whitley top half of bracket breakdown
On paper, North Shore should be playing Cy Woods for the finals of the Peggy Whitley Classic however the game is played on the court and this tournament has had some exciting things happen since I've been attending a little after the turn of the century. Chastity Patterson and Adriiana Jackson make the Mustangs go but several other players have played a big part in their success this season and with unsigned Under The Radar guard Deja Hughes back after being out with severe burns, she'll be on a mission against Klein Oak. Shore will play the Clear Lake vs Fort Bend Marshall winner, Lake has several exciting players themselves including Torrie Thompson, another GPR Under The Radar star that signed with Henderson State
Bellaire takes on Clear Creek while Cy Fair battles Elsik and I've seen Bellaire four times this season and they've looked different each time. One this is for sure, unsigned Under The Radar Aeriel Holiday certainly has mnade an impression and with her size and body frame, she's been doing some damage on both ends for the Cardinals. She and Aaliyah Austin were sparks this weekend at the Texas Jamboree but they'll have their hands full against Clear Creek. Creek lost Lacey Savage for the season and with her they would be in the mix with Mia Hayes, Hannah Froeschl and a host of others but peep this, Creek will be in the mix next season and the one after and the winner plays the Cy Fair vs Elsik winner which will probably be the Bobcats who are simply one of the best defensive teams in the area
