Younger OK Lady Fire team equally exciting #PrimeTimeNationals

What's that old saying, where there's smoke, there's FIYA, well on both of their 9th and 10th grade teams from the state that's OK, there was plenty of heat. Electrifying guards, an abundance of them, simply had me just in a trance at times but this younger squad had even more. Tattianna Gifford had range from bback home while Leoloni Culley was an athletic nightmare for opponents. Andy Turner could fill it up and when I check through the roster, this team was filled with 2018 players along with a 2019 so they probably would have made a run at the 8th grade title

Camryn Fennel is fearless, she pulled up at will and boy could she drill, the ball that is, through the nets. Her back to back to back threes made come down from upstairs to see her up close and personal plus I failed to mention those threes came after steals. For dramatic purposes, I might be embellishing it a tad but this kid simply was amazing. Taylor Gunn has the right name because she never could pull the trigger while the lone 2019 player, Taylor Dement put on a show of her own

Dement is only 4'10 yet plays a foot taller and her energy level stays the same, high, throughout the game. She brings it on both ends, loves to defend and can score and her propensity to figure out ways to get to the line was simply something to see. When you have speedy guards that can play, you better be able to handle the heat and when they'res FIRE you know it's going to be some heat
