Spoon's "Under The Spotlight" coming soon



Krissica “Spoon” Harper is a native of Waco, Texas. Krissica, a 5’0 point guard, helped lead Waco Midway’s 2009 4A Girl’s State Basketball Championship. She played in 144 consecutive games as a four-year letter winner and three year starter for Midway. As a result, Ms. Harper was a intricate piece in helping Waco Midway’s Lady Panthers achieve a record of 121wins and only 23 losses. 

Ms. Harper’s achievements include being selected first team all District 16-4A three times, being named to the Waco Tribune-Herald Super Centex first team three consecutive years, and was the Central Texas assist leader her junior and senior years. In addition, she was also selected to play in the 2009 Texas Girls Coaching Association (TGCA) all-star basketball game. 

Upon graduating high school, she signed a Division 1 basketball scholarship and later graduated from Henderson State University with a degree in Political Science/Pre-law with a minor in communication.  She is currently working with at-risk teens and using her gift of basketball to coach, develop, and mentor basketball players. 

“Spoon” will be giving Girlz Prep Report even more insight on the Cen-Tex area and will be on hand for the Tyrone Johnson Classic in  June
