The Hurricanes HS squad was another team that simply got after it and with players ranging from 8th graders to juniors, they certainly showed they could compete. Chloe Lamarque and Kaitlyn Wilson also played on the younger team but they were equally impressive going against the older teams as both were aggressive going to the basket. Morgan Smith was savvy at the one, handled the ball, saw the floor and got wherever she wanted plus showed she could shoot it from long range. Julie DeLaRosa also showed she could finish strong while Mary Edwards was always active and shot the midrange jumper well
