The Manvel Mavericks defeated Duncanville 58-53 last night denying the Pantherettes their third straight state title and ending their winning streak at 105. I only glanced at the game, I know Manvel was down by double digits early and came back and I know Ariel Atkins fouled out with almost four minutes left and with only a 7 point lead, I knew how this would end
Manvel could have laid down when they were down early, they didn't score their first field goal until almost five minutes into the game and their BCS front-line of Bessard-Turner- Hosey have done what Bachman-Turner-Overdrive did, taking care of business, but the remix would include they didn't have to work overtime
