Atascocita's pressure too much for Klein Forest

One thing is for certain, Atascocita can bring the heat with multiple line-ups and they showed that last night against Klein Forest in their 63-49 victory. Hannah Hopkins helped get scoring frenzy going in the opening quarter with two big baskets but the heat applied from Erin Willis, Shae Moore and Shatarah Brown was in triple digits as they forced several KF turnovers

It didn't really matter what line-up Atascocita went with, they tried the twin towers a little bit with Hopkins and Anacia Wilkerson, who has been nursing a minor injury but created some problems on both ends, or they went with all guards, well basically all guards

Ekiyah "Big Play" Gray kept Klein Forest in the game with several big baskets as she led all scorers with 21 points, Jeliah Preston added 14, most of which came in the second half. What this game means for the KF Eagles is that they probably won't finish higher than third in District 13, this is very talented team and the playoffs are simply the most important thing and I keep going back to Pearland' s run to the area F-4 last season while the team that beat them by an average of around 25 ppg, Manvel, didn't make it

What this means for the other Eagles, Atascocita, is they're probably going to be soaring to a district tie with Dekaney since the teams have split. Acrobatic guards that can shoot and bring heat have created problems in the playoffs, especially when you have an abundance of them doing it at the same time and if they're clicking, who knows how far they can actually go. Willis (19) Brown 4) and Moore (12) led the way for "The Taz"
