Houston Hoops White's progression has been "NOTED" as I've watched this team get stronger each tournament since back in March. Their solid play at Prime Time Nationals showed that their hard work had paid off after finishing second in pool play before losing to a tough Monroe Lady Mustangs squad
With several injuries, three to starters, Hoops White never gave up and when you lose key players in an event, someone needs to step up and many did as the team came together. With Madalyn Baker attacking the basket frequently, she joined Jaimi Hawkins and Destiny Tillis , who both showed their athleticism on both ends, at making things happen. Chelsea Trevino created some problems on the defensive side while Alize Washington showed she could not only handle the ball under pressure but see the floor
Youngters Dari Gabriel (2018) and Madyson Gold (2017) got some valuable experience playing up and did a great job
