The 5th/6th Grade Division semifinals at the Prime Time Qualifier took me back and I'm talking way back as I saw several of these energetic young ladies bringing the heat on Sunday. I realize some are just doing this to hang out with their friends, some are doing it because of pressure from inside their homes and some are doing it because this is what they really want to do and to be honest, and we all know that's my motto, I identified several players on Sunday who have a legitimate shot at being "one of the girls"
At this stage, you can't count anyone out, some players develop on the floor faster than others and I've seen many 10 year old superstars way ahead of everyone else fall way behind everyone by the time they finish their careers. It's always important to keep working and stay focused because when you're at this stage anything can happen
