SYE talent pool deep at #cyfairinvite

Brittany Gamble

I think I've probably been talking about San Antonio teams and players turning the corner for the past three or four years which amazes me after some of the emails I'm receiving however one program that continues to have an abundance of "next level talent" is Sophia Young Elite, remember "it's not what you do it's who you do it against." If you remember that quote, you'll understand where I'm coming from

With two teams playing in the top division, they had a little bit of everything. Big strong finishers like #42, those who finished and defended like #00 Francesca Patrick? and Brittany Gamble.

Gamble also showed she could shoot it from log or mid-range. All from SYE Central  Texas Black

Japreece Dean

Over on SYE Black, Japreece Dean is still as exciting and entertaining as she was when I caught her at the SMC back in December. Alyssa Echols is still hustling on both ends of the floor, same as she was when I saw her in the state playoffs for "The Fluge" but this team is full of athletic players that can get after it.

Simone Fields is very athletic and her 6'1 body can create some problems but you can add that and then some Trei Torrain. At 6'2, she was one of the more explosive players on both ends. I saw Briana Millet i the 7th or 8th grade with the Rohawks and knew she was going to special and with her frame and the ability to shoot the midrange makes her a hot commodity in the 2015 class.

Tia Mason is 6'3, good hands and footwork along with being strong is always a plus and at 6'3......

The younger team I saw in the semifinals will be coming up later. I actually SAW this team play and it's loaded with talented players you'll be hearing about

Trei Torrain
