Fielder's dominance key to Creek victory

Cy Creek came into the game knowing that two of their district rivals, Cy Falls and Cy Ranch had been eliminated, so with D-22 already placing two teams in the E8, it will either be two from D-20 or D-17 after Creek took care of business 43-39 following Bellaire’s victory over Ranch. Cy Woods plays Westside today and the winner of that game will give their district a second representative in the E-8

Cy Creek was clicking early and appeared to be on the verge of running away with this one as the opened up an 8-0 lead fueled by Dani Fielder. Cinco Ranch went on their own run and when Sydney “Big Play Syd” Thomas hit a three to give Cinco a 9-8 lead, you could tell there would be no running away as the quarter ended in Creek’s favor 13-11

Creek managed to open the second with back to back buckets but an Emily Richard three cut the lead to 17-16. Ikpeaku Iwobi compliments Fielder so much and that duo combined for 29 points in this game and in a very low scoring half, Creek managed to hold on to a 22-21 lead
Fielder finished the game with 19  points, 11 of those in the second half as Creek advances 43-39
