I wrote about how the Eisenhower vs Nimitz game could have some bearing on who won District 18 however the standings posted in the Chronicle were completely wrong and let me throw another saying out there, "you're only good as the info you have", well sort of.
Usually I would go on a rant about this or that however I hadn't seen Nimitz so it's all good. I'm probably saying it doesn't matter because of a compliment I received from a parent regarding my coverage and things like that overshadows some of the ignorance I hear because to be honest with you, if it wasn't for me over 50% of these players you read about probably wouldn't be mentioned at all ,I'm low balling the percentages , which is why GPR was started in the first place
Ike won the game and to sum it up, they came out hotter than Nimitz as they were getting points from everyone and had it not been for the hot hand of Corianna Adams off the bench for Nimitz, this game may have been over in the first half.
The back-court duo of Tiara Riley and A'Lachanon King is going to create some mismatches in the playoffs and if they get by Cy Creek, who knows how far this team could go as Bellaire might be the only one to stop them from heading to Campbell Center
The more I watch Sonerka White the more I'm impressed as she continues to amaze me by her ability to get wherever she wants to on the floor and came up with big shots to answer every Cougar run
This is going to be an interesting first round between D-17 and D-18, my wish is a triple-header at Campbell Center between the teams from those two districts but I know that ain't happening and I'll be wherever the doubleheaders take me, I think
