Sentreal Gregory Going Her Own Route

There is nothing I like more than watching players develop and adding stuff to their games. So many times I have seen the younger ones be way ahead of their peers only to pan out when the heat in oven goes up but when you can withstand the heat let's me know that a bright future could be in the cards. Faith Cook and Angela Harris are two of the best guards I've seen in the 8th grade and watching them go head to head gave me a glimpse of the future. The Goss twins, Sarah and Allison, have added a little something to their games and stories on all of these future high school players that I predict to be game changers and stars in high school are coming but this one is about a young lady whose drive and hard work work shows me her name has got to be in that mix as well

SENTREAL & SHANAY GREGORY

It's hard following in a siblings footsteps however Sentreal Gregory has made it known right off the top she wanted to do her own thing. Her sister Shanay was one of several stars on a Pershing Middle School team that could have beat many high school teams back in the day, former A&M stat Patrice Reado was on that team as well and she was also the first player I saw dunk in high school, she was only 6'0. Shanay later starred at Yates and helped them make deep runs in the playoffs every year but Sentreal has her own ideas about what she wants to do. "Right now I haven't decided where I'm going to attend" said the 8th grade baller "but I know I want to get better and make a difference". I can understand that because she's already made a difference each time I've seen her over the past few months but this weekend was more impressive because she played against older, stronger and better competition in the high school division and as she ran the point, there are signs that she will do very well in high school.
