More Surprises from San Antonio

Charlicia "CeCe" Harper amassed over 2300 points during her high school career at James Madison High School where she won several awards. She played club ball for her parents San Antonio Rohawks squad and wound up being recognized as one of the top point guards in the country and she is about to enter her sophomore year with the Kansas Jayhawks.

I ran into her mom, Lorraine, a couple of weeks ago and we started talking about all of the young talent popping up in the San Antonio area and she suggested I take a look at her 2015 squad.

Needless to say, I'm glad that I did because the squad had several young stars you will be hearing about in the not so distant future including #13 Brianna Millet and #24 Desseire Johnson

Millet brings that coveted size to the table and along with her being able to score from outside and handle the ball, she can play multiple positions on the court. Johnson on the other hand may not possess the size, however being fast with the ball, seeing the floor extremely well and scoring at will makes her a hot commodity. I'm glad I had a chance to run into Coach Harper and best wishes to the Rohawks and CeCe in the future!
